Your next visit to your local QuikTrip could be even more convenient.
QuikTrip says it’s trying out a service they stopped doing nearly 15 years ago. Some may remember it as "carhop" service. Now they're rebranding it as "Carside Delivery"
While you are pumping your gas, you can make an order for snacks or other items inside the store and an employee will bring them out to you.
All you have to do is call a number posted on the "Carside Delivery" sign and place your order along with your pump number. Once your order is ready, employees will bring it to you and take your payment at your car.
For safety reasons, right now credit cards are the only payment option. QuikTrip says the company is no stranger to bringing back things from the past and is curious to see if this will stick.
"I mean technology is all around us. People obviously come to QuikTrip to get in and get out quickly, so we'll see, maybe it will work," said QuikTrip Spokesperson Mike Thornbrugh
This is only happening at select stores in Tulsa, between the hours of 6 a.m. and 6 p.m.
The first store is at 51st and Union. The other is near 61st and Garnett.
