Tulsa religious groups are reacting to hateful graffiti at the State Democratic Party Headquarters and at a Chickasaw Nation Office.

In the last few hours, the Oklahoma City police department released pictures of someone they want to question.

Bob Kandra, who worked for the CIA, says he believes the vandalism is tied to white supremacist ideology. He said it’s important for people to always be aware and to pay attention.

Newly released photos from the Oklahoma City Police Department are of a woman they said is wanted for questioning in connection with hateful graffiti written at The Chickasaw Nation Office.

Police said the same graffiti was painted at the State Democratic Party Headquarters. Police are also trying to track down a car.

Former CIA Agent Bob Kandra spoke with News On 6 about the graffiti.

"Who ever did this act whether its an individual or a group these are people that are serious individuals" said Bob Kandra.

The Chickasaw Nation's Governor released a statement that said in part, "It is very disheartening to see our building defaced by this type of hateful message which is so out of place for Oklahoma."

Kandra believes the person responsible had a specific plan.

"They planned it for sometime. They knew exactly what there message was going to be before they got to this location and placed it," said Kandra.

Other religious organizations have also come out against the hateful graffiti.

The Islamic Society Of Tulsa condemned the vandalism and said in part, "We must reject hate in all forms against the other in the strongest possible words and actions."

The Jewish Federation Of Tulsa said in part, “The use of clear Nazi and white supremacist language should remind us all that hate, discrimination, and vitriol should never be acceptable."

"Based on my experiences in the FBI, they are well aware of the concerns of people that could do harm and they are well experienced in being able to get to the bottom of all these actions," said Kandra.

If you have any information about this crime, call Crime Stoppers in Oklahoma City at 405-235-7300.
