Crash Involving Semi Closes Highway 169 Near Talala

Crash Involving Semi Closes Highway 169 Near Talala

Highway 169 was closed in both directions early Thursday just north of Talala due to a crash involving a car and a semi.

The Oklahoma Highway patrol says the crash happened near the intersection of 300 Road just after midnight.

Troopers say Kyle Miller, 35, was heading north in a 2010 Nissan Altima when his car crossed the center line and collided with a 2018 Kenworth truck driven by Donald Bowen, 54.

The OHP said a helicopter flew Miller to a Tulsa hospital where he was listed in serious condition. Troopers said Bowen wasn't hurt.

The OHP reopened the highway just before 6 a.m.
