Body Of WWII Marine Will Be Returned To Oklahoma

The body of a marine who went missing during a WWII battle on a remote Pacific island will return to Oklahoma next month.

The military has identified the remains of Corporal Claire Goldtrap from Hobart. He died during a battle over the Gilbert Islands in the Pacific Ocean and was buried with thousands of other unidentified soldiers.

A funeral will be held on April 10th.
