Man Arrested In Connection With Body Found In Burned Rogers Co. Trailer

A man is in jail accused of killing his stepfather as part of a family feud that's gone on for years. Rogers County deputies arrested Kevin Foster for the death of Ricky Swan.

A video made by the victim warned something like this might happen. Investigators said Ricky Swan told several people he was afraid his stepson was going to hurt or kill him. Swan also accused his stepson of breaking into his house, stealing documents, and planting child porn on his computer.

"I'm doing this because I need a record of this in case something happens to me. I need somebody to see them," said Swan in the video.

Ricky Swan said he made the video in March. His wife had died, and Swan and her son were in a feud that led to a lawsuit. Investigators said part of the feud was over the headstone Swan placed on his wife's grave.

Swan believed his stepson had broken into his house and stole important documents.

"They freaking got in here and stole my deed to my burial site and put it in their name. I know what they're doing. They're trying to keep me from being buried there," said Swan in a video.

Swan's house had been raided by law enforcement and he was later charged with possession of child porn. He believed his stepson broke in and planted those images.

"I've been set up. When they started saying what they were saying about all those images. I knew that wasn't mine. I knew I didn't do that," Swan said.

Investigators believe Kevin Foster killed his stepfather in this travel trailer then set it on fire. They say a witness saw Foster's car at the scene and also at the cemetery where the headstone had been knocked over.

Foster denied being in the area or committing the murder.

"His denial of being in Claremore yesterday when he's caught on camera multiple times at different locations and witnesses put him in the driveway, obviously it accelerates everything to a point where we're able to make an arrest," said Sheriff Scott Walton.

Foster declined a request for an interview.
