The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says inattentive driving appears to be the cause of a crash involving a car and semi Tuesday evening on a Tulsa County highway.
Troopers in their report, said a 2013 Acura driven by 25-year-old Hayley Dunlap of Jenks was southbound on Highway 75 at 211th Street South when she struck the trailer of a semi which had just pulled onto Highway 75 from the shoulder.
The 8:28 p.m. sent Dunlap to the hospital where she was admitted with a head injury. A six-year-old boy in Dunlap's car was not injured.
The OHP says the driver of the semi, 43-year-old Burl Doyle of Fayetteville, Arkansas was also not injured.
The trooper's report stated Dunlap had looked back to check on the juvenile in the back seat when her Acura hit the semi's trailer.
Glenpool firefighters freed Dunlap from the wreckage.
