OU’s Kyler Murray is the big 12 offensive player of the week after his performance in the 66-33 win over Baylor. Now it's on to Texas.
It’s safe to say if OU beats Texas, we will have heard the name Murray a lot.
Kyler the offensive ringleader. Kenneth on defense, where his 64 tackles are just 14 shy of his total last season when he started 14 games.
The improving sophomore middle backer leads the league in tackles per game, and has a confounding 45 tackles in the last two games.
However, missed tackles is a priority.
"Everybody keeps telling me about the 45, I can't get the mind off the 5 that I missed. I had 4 that I missed in the game last week and I'm pretty bummed out about, so just keep my mind on that, continue to work, continue to get better in my game, just something that I continue to work on,” said Kenneth Murray.
"We got Texas coming up Saturday, and a great opportunity, a great opportunity that I think many kids around the country would love to be a part of this game and be able to play this game and it's here in front of us. And I think the team's ready for it, ready for the challenge,” said Kyler Murray
We feature the QB Murray who continues his brilliant play. But tons of pressure on him against Texas from UT's defense.
And from a fan base that lambasted his decision to not even consider going to Texas times 10 when he chose to become a Sooner.
