OHP: At Least 5 Confirmed Dead In Fiery Plane Crash Near Ponca City

A small passenger plane crashed into a soybean field near Ponca City Saturday, Oklahoma Highway Patrol officials confirm.
OHP says a plane with three adults and two children on board crashed north of Hubbard Road and U Street. OHP tells News On 6 there were no survivors. FAA spokesman Lynn Lunsford said the plane is believed to be a single-engine Extra EA400 plane.
The victims are confirmed to be from Independence, Kansas. The victim's families have been notified but, names have not been released at this time.
