Scott Pruitt Resigns As EPA Administrator

On Thursday President Trump announced the resignation of EPA Administrator Scott Pruitt.

The President made the announcement on Twitter saying he thanked Pruitt for his work. In the same thread, President Trump announced that the Senate had confirmed Deputy at the EPA Andrew Wheeler as acting Administrator of the EPA. 

...on Monday assume duties as the acting Administrator of the EPA. I have no doubt that Andy will continue on with our great and lasting EPA agenda. We have made tremendous progress and the future of the EPA is very bright!
