There are two new K-9 teams joining law enforcement in Oklahoma.

A graduation ceremony was held on Friday for handlers and their dogs after completion of a 12-week training program.

The teams are Broken Arrow Officer Michael Ryan and his K-9, Thor, and Wagoner County Deputy Darren Watkins and his K-9, Bane.

“These are going to be some really good teams to hit the streets,” said Mark Baldwin, from Broken Arrow Police Department.  “They’re here for protection of the community.”

Each pair is trained in tracking drugs and conducting various types of searches.
