Man Fatally Shot Driving SUV In Pittsburg County, OSBI Says

The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation is investigating a fatal shooting in Pittsburg County.

According to the OSBI, Hartshorne Police received a call of a shooting around 9:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 27, 2018.

When police arrived at the scene in the 500 block of North 6th Street, they found 19-year-old Kyle Thomas Brown dead from a gunshot wound.

Police requested assistance from the OSBI.

After interviewing people at the scene, the OSBI said agents determined Brown was shot while driving his SUV in front of his home. They said others inside the SUV pulled Brown out of the vehicle and took him inside his home where he died.

The investigation is ongoing.

No arrests have been made.
