A federal judge rules civil lawsuits against former Tulsa County Sheriff Stanley Glanz and former reserve deputy Bob Bates will go forward.

Bates was recently released from jail after being convicted of manslaughter in the shooting death of unarmed suspect Eric Harris.
The Harris family filed civil lawsuits against both men over his death.
