The City of Broken Arrow is creating a plan to stop popular businesses from moving out of one of the main parts of town.
A community meeting is planned for Tuesday evening to take a look at how to develop BA.
The city is looking to re-vamp the area of town near New Orleans and Elm, and they're hosting a community forum to get input from property owners and other community members about developing and recruiting businesses to the area.
That meeting will be held at South Broken Arrow Baptist Church at 6 p.m.
The city said this is in response to big businesses moving out of the area, including an Applebee's and a Hobby Lobby.
Last week, city council asked for a study to provide options to hopefully improve the economic impact of this area of town.
The city said they plan on using Vision 2025 funds to pay for that study.
The city also said they hope to find a solution that will stop retailers from moving to other parts of BA and Tulsa.
