The City of Tulsa is looking at ways to raise $10 million more for a new Arkansas River pedestrian bridge.
According to News On 6's partner, The Frontier, Mayor G.T. Bynum is asking the bridge design finalists to submit two designs: one that fits the city's current $24.5 million budget and one that costs $35 million.
The city's cost estimates for the proposed designs have ranged from $30 million to $56 million.
Bynum says if additional funding, whether public or private, can't be secured, the City of Tulsa will stick to its lower budget.
