Highway 82 in Spavinaw is shut down due to flooding and there's a chance it could get worse later Sunday. Highway 82 is immersed in water sweeping across the road and making the area impassable.

Video sent into News On 6 from Game Warden Lieutenant Brek Henry shows the raging waters near the bridge coming from the nearby lake. Lt. Henry told us Spavinaw and Salina firefighters were able to save a woman stranded at a house on the other side of the flood waters.

The City of Tulsa is releasing the water from Lake Eucha to Spavinaw - meaning more floodwaters could show up April 30.

We've seen video of people trying to navigate roads - but remember, it doesn't take much water to sweep your vehicle away so avoid these flooded roads.
