Durant Family Celebrates Six Living Generations

A Durant family got together this week for a very special photo shoot. 

Oleane Mulkey was born in 1909. Oklahoma, the state she lives in, had only been a state for two years.  But not only is her age significant, at 107-years-old, she has close to 100 direct descendants.

The youngest in the family is just a few days old.

Mulkey had 12 kids 9 of whom are still alive, from 62 to 87 years old.

Her great granddaughter, Janeva Maxson, says people are always shocked when she tells them about her family.

The Guinness Book of World Records states the most alive in a single family is seven generations.
