Arrest Made In Muskogee Nightclub Shooting That Wounded Two Women

Muskogee Police said they've made an arrest in a shooting that wounded two women over the weekend.

According to police, the suspect is 19-year-old Ricky Spencer.

The shooting happened late Saturday night at a Muskogee event center.

Police said one of the victims was shot in the pelvis, but she was alert and talking when she flown to a Tulsa hospital.

Several hundred people were in the building when the shooting happened, according to police.

Before the shooting, police said someone stabbed a woman in the torso but no one reported that to police until after the shooting.

It's unclear if the stabbing is connected in any way to the shooting and police said they're confident the shooter is not the same person who stabbed the woman.

The stabbing victim and the second shooting victim are both in a Muskogee hospital. Police say their injuries are non-life threatening.
