The Grand River Dam Authority announced Monday it's leasing 625 acres in Ottawa County to the Paralyzed Veterans of America to use for hunting.

The veterans will have access to use the land along the Neosho River during deer, turkey and waterfowl season.

The GRDA already leases out land in the area for the group's annual "Great American Deer Hunt," which starts this Friday.

More than 40 veterans with spinal cord injuries have participated in the hunt since it began eight years ago.
