The Cherokee Nation of Oklahoma is helping the Standing Rock Sioux Tribe in North Dakota in its fight against the Dakota Access Pipeline.
The Cherokee Nation donated $10,000 as well as truckloads of firewood.
More than 220 people have been arrested since demonstrations began in August, including 80 protesters on Saturday. The Standing Rock Sioux Tribe says the pipeline goes right through sacred tribal ground.
