Owasso Wins 34th Annual Renegade Review Marching Band Championship

Things got loud at Union High School. Twenty-three bands from all over the region competed for the 34th Annual Renegade Review Marching Band Championship.

One by one, bands showcased their best skills for a chance to win. The Pride of Owasso marching band swept the competition with a score of 82.10. They won all four additional awards for music, visual, general effect and fan favorite.

A drummer from a band out of Missouri says it's all about working together.

“It's more than playing a part,” said the band member. “It's a group effort. It's important you get that team mentality.”

Grain Valley Missouri was the second-place finisher.
