Hours after DNA cleared a man in a kidnapping and rape case, Tulsa police made another arrest.

On August 7, police say a woman said she was raped after meeting a man in Tulsa using an online dating app.

She told them they arranged to meet at a gas station in the area of 11100 East Pine Street.

The woman told police when she arrived the man pointed a gun at her and ordered her into the car.

She said the man took her to a field in the area of 1100 North 104th East Avenue, duct taped her and raped her. Police said they found duct tape on the ground in the area.

The woman described the man as a white male with a red beard and drove a silver car with tinted windows.

Police said they were able to track the phone number give to them by the victim.

Friday evening, Tulsa police located 27-year-old Evan Parrott and took him into custody. Police said after they read Parrott his rights he admitted to meeting the victim and said everything was consensual.

According to the arrest report, when police told Parrott about the duct tape he stated "anything was possible." The report says Parrott then told police if they searched his car - which matched the victim's description - they would find duct tape and a black airsoft gun that looked real.

Jail records show Parrott was booked into the Tulsa County jail for first-degree rape and kidnapping. His bond has been set at $75,000.
