Four people and three pets made it out of a burning house without being hurt Saturday night.
The Tulsa Fire Department received multiple calls about the fire near Admiral and Sheridan shortly after 11 p.m.
Tulsa Fire Captain Jason Morgan said four adults and three pets escaped the house without injuries and it took firefighters about 10 minutes to knock down the flames.
Morgan said the firefighters concentrated on staying hydrated. He said they spend time working outdoors to increase their ability to tolerate the heat when they're fighting fires.
The people who live in the house were staying with family, he said. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
