The Oklahoma Lottery says it's still waiting for the state's two newest millionaires to claim their prizes.
Lottery officials say a $2 million winning Mega Millions ticket from Friday's drawing was purchased at a food mart in Shawnee. And a $1 million winning Mega Millions ticket from Tuesday's drawing was purchased at a convenience store in Lawton. The July 1st winner selected the Megaplier option for an extra $1, which doubled their prize to $2 million.
It's the 54th time a winner in Oklahoma has won a prize of $1 million or more. Four winners have hit the Powerball jackpot since the Oklahoma Lottery's launch in June 2005. Winners have 180 days from the day of the drawing to claim their prize.
Net lottery proceeds support public education in Oklahoma.
