The Medical Examiner's office released the autopsy report on the infant daughter of a former TU football player who's charged in her death.

Raylie Dickerson was 42 days old when she died on January 13, 2016.

On Monday afternoon, prosecutors charged her father, Tavarreon Dickerson, with child abuse murder in her death. Police arrested him a few hours later in Arlington, Texas, his home town.

Police said they were called to Dickerson's home on January 10, 2016 at 5:20 a.m. after the girl was found unresponsive. EMSA took her to a hospital where she did not regain consciousness and died three days later.

Dickerson said the girl had been fussy during the night and cried off and on and he took her into the living room at about 4 a.m. and held her as they went to sleep on the couch, police said. He discovered her limp and lifeless shortly after 5 a.m., according to police.

The autopsy report issued by the ME said the girl had bleeding on the brain, bruises on her scalp and two rib fractures that were healing at the time of her death.

The ME wrote that the broken ribs likely happened from one to four weeks prior to the girl's death and that "posterior rib fractures are highly specific to inflicted injury."

The ME listed the cause of death as multiple blunt impact injuries with acute subdural hematoma.
