Tulsa Police arrested nine people on suspicion of driving under the influence after a sobriety checkpoint Saturday night. The checkpoint was from 10:30 p.m. to 2:30 a.m. near Pine and Peoria.
Police say they also made one felony drug arrest, served 18 misdemeanor warrants and wrote 180 citations.
The sobriety checkpoint was sponsored by a grant from the Oklahoma Highway Safety Office and is part of the statewide ENDUI campaign. Oklahoma Highway Patrol troopers and the Oklahoma ABLE Commission joined TPD in the special enforcement.
The numbers are still preliminary, according to TPD.
