Drone 6: Coweta's New Central Elementary School

Drone 6 flew over Coweta's new Central Elementary School on Thursday.  

The new school is under construction.  Officials say the new building will replace the 79-year-old school on North Broadway.  

In 2014, Coweta voters passed a $35-million bond issue to make the new school possible.  School administrators told News On 6, the historic building was holding students back.
Some teachers have already got a sneak peak inside.  The old building will be torn down once the new school is finished.
