Omar Calhoun tied a season high with 14 points and Connecticut held off Tulsa 75-73 on Saturday after leading by 20 points in the second half.
Five Huskies scored in double figures to help UConn to the win, which came less than 48 hours after the Huskies blew a late 12-point lead in a loss at Temple.
UConn (18-7, 8-4 American) led by 13 points at the half and quickly extended that to 20 on the strength of two 3-point shots by Calhoun.
But Tulsa outscored the Huskies 46-29 the rest of the way.
Pat Birt hit six 3-pointers for Tulsa (16-9, 8-5), including all five of his attempts in the second half, and led all scorers with 24 points.
Tulsa got within three points late, but UConn free throws extended that to five before a meaningless 3-pointer by Rashad Ray at the buzzer.
