Suspect Confesses To Three Armed Robberies, Tulsa Police Say

Police say a man confessed to robbing three Tulsa businesses after his arrest.

Officers stopped a car Monday after recognizing it from surveillance video recorded during a convenience store robbery on December 4th. Police said they also recognized the front seat passenger, Cedric Johnson, 28, from the same surveillance video.

In the arrest report, police said Johnson confessed to the Fiesta Mart robbery in the 2700 block of East 91st Street and also to two Subway armed robberies. One of those robberies was in the 700 block of West 23rd Street on November 30, the other was at 58th and South Lewis on November 17.   

They booked Cedric Johnson into the Tulsa County jail on two complaints of robbery with a firearm. Jail records show he is being held on a $100,000 bond with a court appearance scheduled for December 14.
