Escaped Prison Inmate Recaptured In Stringtown

The Oklahoma Department of Corrections says an inmate who escaped over the weekend from the state prison in Stringtown is back in custody.

The Oklahoma Department of Corrections says an inmate who escaped over the weekend from the state prison in Stringtown is back in custody.

The Oklahoma Department of Corrections says Joshua L. Holt, 31, was reported missing from the Mack Alford Correctional Center in Atoka County Saturday.

Tuesday just before 9 a.m., Stringtown Police found Holt outside a local church and took him into custody.

DOC records show Holt was serving time out of Stephens County for a conviction of knowingly concealing stolen property.
