Move-In Days For University Of Tulsa Freshmen

Monday was move-in day for in-state freshmen at the University of Tulsa.  

Around 600 incoming freshmen are getting settled in their dorms.  Monday was actually the second day for freshmen to move in.  On Sunday, out-of-state freshmen moved in.  

Several fraternities, orientation leaders and resident assistants helped students move into the school's seven different residence halls.  

The new TU students used luggage carts, laundry baskets and whatever they could find to help with the heavy items. 

"There was a lot of help to get us moved in.  Although the dorm was kind of empty (because I was moving in early because I came from out of state), it was an overall good experience," said Lucas Schroeder, incoming TU freshman.  

After the freshmen get settled in their rooms, they will be heading to orientation.  Classes at the University of Tulsa began Monday, August 24.
