Flooding Concerns Close Mohawk Park And Tulsa Zoo

The City of Tulsa closed Mohawk Park Thursday because of the risk of flooding, which prompted the Tulsa Zoo to close as well.

A zoo spokeswoman says the animals and facilities haven't been affected by the rain, but they were concerned the parking lots in front of the zoo could flood. 

The Tulsa Zoo will also be closed Friday preparing for its WALTZ on the Wild Side annual fundraiser, but will reopen to the public on Saturday.
