A new Christmas tree at Tulsa's Woodland Hills Mall is helping raise awareness about the deadly consequences of drunk driving.

The Tree of Life went up Tuesday in the lower-level center court. It will stay up through New Year's as a reminder for those who plan to drink over to the holidays to also plan a safe ride home.

Underneath the tree are unopened presents - representing 108 Tulsa County residents who died this year because someone chose to drink and drive.

The Oklahoma ABLE Commission and other law enforcement agencies sponsored the tree and a news conference.
