The Oklahoma Turnpike Authority and Kansas Turnpike Authority have finalized an interoperability agreement starting November 1st.
Oklahoma PikePass customers will now be able to use their passes on Kansas toll roads and Kansas customers will be able to use their K-Tags in Oklahoma.

“This added accommodation is an example of how we continually listen to our customers and provide innovative ways to make turnpike travel faster, safer and easier,” said OTA Director, Tim Stewart.
In a news release, OTA says only one transponder is needed, but suggest customers with both a K-Tag and PikePass should call either 1-800-PIKEPAS or 1-800-USE-KTAG to determine if one or two accounts work best.
They said a customer's PikePass account must be in good standing to qualify for interoperability on KTA toll roads.

Earlier this year, Oklahoma and Texas turnpike authorities passed a similar agreement making it easier for drivers to travel across the Red River.
