A Locust Grove man pleaded guilty Monday in the deaths of two friends in 2012.
Jason Miller, 37, pleaded guilty to two counts of first-degree manslaughter. A judge sentenced him to 30 years on each count to be served concurrently.
He'd originally been charged with murder in the deaths of William Brizendine, 42, and Ronald O'Rear, 48, on February 16, 2012.
The Mayes County sheriff told News On 6 Miller called 911 that morning to report he'd just killed two people. The sheriff said Miller told investigators Brizendine and O'Rear had tried to steal from him.
The sheriff said all three men had a history of drug use and had been in jail before.
