A Tulsa woman is wanted by police on a felony charge of human trafficking. Curtisha D. Crook, also known as "CeeCee," and "SawSaw" is the Tulsa Police Department's Most Wanted. Police say Crook was selling a 16-year-old girl for sex.

Detectives at the Tulsa Police Department say Crook and another woman made the appointments, then drove the girl to a motel for what she called dates. Police said the women knew the girl was underage, but still trapped her in the world of prostitution.

Officer Leland Ashley with the Tulsa Police, said, "This individual, basically, was a predator."

Ashley said Crook is such a predator that she is one of Tulsa's most wanted criminals. He said a 16-year-old runaway ended up at Crook's apartment, which was shared with Sally Denton, otherwise known as 'Big Moma.'

"You get out there, you want to eat, you're tired, you're sleepy and someone's telling you, 'Hey, you can make some money here and here's some marijuana, here're some pills to numb the pain, ya know, smoke a joint, you won't think about what you're doing,' and before you know, you're in it and then maybe you've got someone telling you, ‘You owe 'x' number of dollars,' you can't get out," Ashley said.

The girl said the women offered her marijuana, pills and a drug she was told was cocaine. They also put an add on an escort service web site advertising the girl for online prostitution, according to court documents.

The girl told police the women gave her pot, pills and cocaine. Detectives said Denton and Crook were setting the girl up with clients to have sex in exchange for drugs and sometimes money.

The two women would make appointments for the girl and drive her to a Tulsa hotel, usually the Deluxe Inn at 27th and Memorial Drive. The teen told police the women knew she was under 18.

Police say the girl was driven to about six "dates" where she had sex with a client in exchange for money and/or drugs.

Police say human sex trafficking and prostitution is becoming more and more difficult to patrol. It's no longer just watching the streets, but it's also scanning through many websites on the Internet.

"It's done a lot more discreetly and in a way, it's actually more detrimental to these young ladies because they're not out there on the street where, maybe you have officers driving by that could stop, identify them, realize their a runaway," Ashley said. "You got individuals that are out here, they're advertising on a site that, basically, you and I won't see and they're being victimized on a daily basis."

Detectives said they got a tip the girl was listed on the site and were able to track her down and rescue her. Officers also arrested Denton in the process.

Police said the women screened all of the girl's calls. Detectives said they found hundreds of text messages, which confirmed the prostitution.

In February, 2014, police showed a photo of Curtisha Crook to the teen and her mother. The girl identified Crook as the woman she knew as "CeeCee."

Crook is described as a 35-year-old woman with black hair and brown eyes. She is 5'03" and weighs about 135 pounds. She will be held on a $150,000 bond.

A cash reward of up to $1,500 is offered for information leading to Crook's arrest. If you can help police locate her, call Crime Stoppers at 918-596-COPS.
