Artist Unveils New Pearl District Mural

There's a new work of art in downtown Tulsa's Pearl District.

Josh Butts unveiled his mural Wednesday on the side of the Tulsa Beef building, near East 6th Street and Trenton Avenue.

It depicts scenes from the district's past, present, and visions for its future.

He said the mural shows what the Pearl District is about, taking what he calls its checkered past and turning it into something everyone can be proud of.

He started the mural late last month.
