Inmate Escapes From State Prison In LeFlore County

A prison official say Curtis Gibson, 51, was last seen at 3:45 p.m. during a headcount at the minimum security prison in Hodgen.

Authorities are looking for an inmate who escaped Monday afternoon from the Jim Hamilton Correctional Center in LeFlore County.

A prison official say Curtis Gibson, 51, was last seen at 3:45 p.m. during a headcount at the minimum security prison in Hodgen.

Gibson is 5'9", 270 pounds with gray hair and brown eyes.

Gibson was serving time out of Oklahoma County on a conviction for failure to comply with sex offender registration.

Officials say he is considered armed and dangerous.
