An early Friday power outage left just over 12,000 customers in Tulsa and Wagoner counties without power for several hours.
PSO Oklahoma says all those customers now have power.
It all started at 3:30 a.m. when, according to PSO Oklahoma, a lightning arrestor, which protects transformers from lightning strikes, failed at a substation at 81st and Garnett.
PSO Oklahoma spokesperson Stan Whiteford says the failure caused a huge flash of light and an outage. He says crews have since restored service.
No reason yet on what caused the arrestor to fail.
