OSBI Investigating Fatal Miami Shooting

The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation is looking into a man's death in northeastern Oklahoma.

The Miami Police Department requested OSBI assistance on Saturday after responding to a 911 call and finding a John Allen Largent, 38, dead of an apparent gunshot wound.

OSBI agents and MPD officers have interviewed a person who claims to have accidentally shot Largent.

No arrests have been made at this time.

The state medical examiner's office will perform an autopsy on Largent's body to determine cause and manner of death.
