Oral Roberts hung around the whole time, but Antonio Bostic and Stephen F. Austin proved to be too much in the end as the Lumberjacks held on for a 61-50 win Saturday night.
Bostic scored 16 points to lead all scorers as Stephen F. Austin (14-1, 5-0) improved to 3-0 in the state of Oklahoma this season, previously dispatching of OU and Tulsa.
Desmond Haymon added 15 points while Hal Bateman chipped in 10 for the Lumberjacks.
D.J. Jackson's 13 points led the way for ORU (8-8, 3-1) while Korey Billbury added 10 off the bench. No one else for the Golden Eagles reached double figures. Damen Bell-Holter finished with just eight points but did haul in 10 boards to lead the team.
