Saturday, family and friends will say goodbye to some Oklahoma soldiers, as they prepare for deployment to Afghanistan.
About a hundred members of the Oklahoma National Guard 1245th Transportation Company are leaving for Fort Hood for training.
Then, they'll head to Afghanistan for about nine months.
The soldiers will transport supplies across the country as well as provide security.
A special ceremony is being held Saturday at 11 a.m. at the McAlester Armed Forces Reserve Center.
