Former U.S. Secretary of Defense Robert Gates stopped in Tulsa Wednesday.
Gates was one of three speakers brought in by OSU Tulsa's Spears School of Business.
The goal was to help inspire students to become leaders in our country and to also encourage them to make a difference in the world.
Gates talked about the growing number of countries that can pose a threat to America.
"A single teenager hacker in the Philippines cost the American economy $10 million overnight," Gates aid. "If a teenager hacker can do that from the Philippines 10 years ago, you can imagine what a more organized and capable group could do today."
Gates served as the director of the CIA before serving as Secretary of Defense.
