Tyler Henderson's career day wasn't enough to lift her Golden Hurricane teammates past No. 19 Kansas State.
The senior tallied 18 kills and a career-high 19 digs in the 3-0 loss. Each game was close, (19-25, 22-25-18-25) but TU couldn't find a way to win any of them.
TU head coach Steven McRoberts said that while he's impressed with Henderson's big game, TU will have to play a little better.
"Tyler had a great match tonight for us," Head Coach Steven McRoberts stated. "We are going to have to regroup as we have two tough matches ahead of us this weekend."
The Hurricane falls to 7-5 on the season and will face No. 20 Dayton Friday in game two of the Golden Hurricane Classic, while Kansas State improves to 10-0 and will face No. 10 Minnesota.
