The Drillers' bats stalled again Friday night and they fell to the Arkansas Travelers 2-1.
Arkansas got all the runs it needed when Travis Witherspoon hit a two-run homer in the bottom of the third inning.
Ben Paulsen made things interesting in the ninth for Tulsa, doubling home Corey Dickerson to cut the lead to 2-1, but with two runners on and two out, Kevin Johnson got Tulsa's Tim Torres to fly out to end it.
Josh Hellweg pitched seven shutout innings for Arkansas to earn his fifth win of the season. Brandon Hynick lost his first game of the season, allowing two runs in six innings.
The Drillers will attempt to get back on track tomorrow night against the Travelers at 7 p.m.
