Wanted: Tulsa Man Charged With Impersonating A Police Officer

A Tulsa man charged with two counts of impersonating a police officer missed a court appearance on Tuesday and now Tulsa Police are trying to find him and put him in jail.

A Tulsa man charged with two counts of impersonating a police officer missed a court appearance on Tuesday and now Tulsa Police are trying to find him and put him in jail.

Barry Baker, Jr., 33, who uses the alias Homicide Detective Matt Baker was last seen driving a 2008 white Ford Crown Victoria 4 door with Oklahoma license tag 827-HMR.

Police say the car is believed to have red strobe lights installed.

Baker is suspected of numerous contacts with the public in which he represents himself as a law enforcement officer.

In addition, officers say Baker may also drive a newer model white Ford King Ranch pickup truck equipped with a police style radio.

Barry Baker is described as a white male, blue eyes and brown hair. He is 6-foot-7 and weighs about 270 pounds.

Tulsa Police encourage any person that has had contact with Baker to contact their local police department.  If in the City of Tulsa call 918-596-1115.
