Some homeless dogs in Tulsa got much-needed makeovers on Friday.
The furry friends will be up for adoption Saturday at the Rock and Rescue.
The folks at Muddy Paws wanted to make sure the pets-to-be looked their best, so they gave them baths and haircuts.
The grooming not only benefits the dogs, but people, too.
"We teach inmates and felons how to groom, so it gives our girls a second chance and it also gives all the dogs a second chance," Christy VanCleave said.
The Oklahoma Alliance for Animals teamed up with local rescue groups to host Saturday's adoption.
It will run from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Riverwalk Crossing in Jenks.
