Tahlequah's NSU Breaks Ground On New Multi-Purpose Center

Northeastern State University breaks ground on a new, multi-purpose event center at its Tahlequah campus.

Northeastern State University breaks ground on a new, multi-purpose event center at its Tahlequah campus.

The 78,000 square foot building will have 69 rooms, including six locker rooms.

There will be a video screening room, athletics shop, concession and laundry areas, as well as a ticket office.

The NSU multi-purpose center will seat about 3,000 people.

Construction will take about 14 months.
