The former president of Oral Roberts University received a deferred sentence Tuesday after pleading guilty to DUI and speeding.
Richard Roberts was pulled over for speeding last January and failed a roadside sobriety test.

As part of his 18-month deferred sentence, Roberts was ordered to complete 56 hours of community service and take DUI classes. Roberts was also ordered to pay more than $500 in fines.
The case will be dismissed if he abides by the terms of his probation
Roberts is the son of the late Oral Roberts and the Chief Executive Officer of the ministry founded by his father, now called Richard Roberts Ministries.
Roberts continues to preach all over the world and hosts a nightly television program.
