U.S. Marshals report that a Tulsa murder suspect shot and killed himself Friday morning in Houston as they went to arrest him.

Chad Hunt of the U.S. Marshal's Tulsa office confirmed that Terencio Turcios, 41, is dead.

Turcios was wanted for a homicide in Tulsa and one in Glenpool on Wednesday.

He was the suspect in the deaths of his estranged wife, Victoria Turcios, and a co-worker of Victoria, David Grummert of Glenpool.

Marshals believed Turcios might be headed to Houston, then received a tip that a family member from that city came to pick him up in McAlester.

U.S. Marshals made entry into the home where Turcios was staying in Houston at about 8:30 a.m.  Friday.  As they were approaching the back room, they say he killed himself in front of deputies and marshals.

"All the information received suggests the firearm used in the apparent suicide was the same weapon used in both homicides," according to a release from the Tulsa Police Department.
