LEFLORE COUNTY, Oklahoma -- Heavy rainfall caused flooding in parts of LeFlore County Monday night, said Michael Davidson, the county's Emergency Management Director.

Flooding near Cedar Lake forced several deer hunters out of a camp. Nearby, a man stranded on a county road was awaiting rescue, as well as a pregnant woman trapped inside a flooded home, Davidson said.

Davidson said there are several roads underwater. Authorities made at least two vehicle high-water rescues.

Flooding may have damaged homes in the area too. Davidson said he received reports that a home was washed away near Hodgen. There were no reports of injuries from the flooding.

The storm system that dumped the heavy rain moved into the area Monday evening and is moving in a north-east direction. Conditions will improve towards morning.
